PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Virtual Incubator World is a Virtual World especially designed for start-up entrepreneurs and also business incubators by the AEMT research group of the Graz University of Technology as part of the European project “Cross Border Virtual Incubator” (http://www.eadtu.eu/cbvi.html).

All the advantages of Virtual 3D Worlds in comparison to conventional e-leaning systems are integrated in the design of the Virtual Incubator World (VIW) so that the needs of business innovation students and start-up entrepreneurs, the curriculum and activities of incubator centers but especially the social factors supporting to bring together potential start-up entrepreneurs, teachers, experts, trainers and potential investors are fulfilled. VIW can also support the “real business” activities of the main stakeholder in the course of entrepreneurship endeavors, including a virtual space to meet peer and exchange experiences as well as to present investors business ideas. However, the remainder is focusing mainly on the support of entrepreneurship training activities.
